I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

I am impressed and envious, Calli. Though, at first, I wondered why you were thanking a high end designer for the internet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What brand, ita? I've just gone back to Cascade and I feel bad about it.

Earth Friendly Wave. It says it's organic lavender scented, but luckily I don't smell anything.

Jen, I'm looking at this right now for my sister, but now that I've had the idea I'll google some more examples and see what the competition looks like. She is coming to visit me on her way back from New Zealand, after all. She gets around.

She's asking me what kind of patties I want her to bring. When I left Jamaica they only had beef. Now they have chicken, vegetable, lobster, and shrimp. What a brave new world.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thank Hermes for the internet.

I second that. I can't even imagine shopping in brick-and-mortar stores for more than the occasional outing anymore. Too many people, too much walking, too hard to find specific things.

I'm thinking I should peruse etsy. And ooh, the little folding-leaf table my sister gave me will be perfect for setting up my little bitty fiber-optic-lights tree. Gotta find it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks! That's the one I've been most recently using and it's mostly fine, but my memory keeps insisting that things I have to run through multiple times would have gotten clean the first time with the eco-unfriendly stuff. I will have to run a test load to be sure.

Ooh, I like that pendant a lot. The compass pendants I've seen have been bulkier.

Go, Calli!

I'm writing letters of rec for students today. It's hard for me to say something about one, A. She's nice. She does her work. She's average. I'd tell her to go to someone else, but I worry that I am the teacher who knows her the best.

I have two paragraphs on her so far. This sucks.

Oh, that's lovely, the compass pendant.

I like the pendant a lot, ita. I'm glad the arrow is spinnable.

I usually try to at least get my immediate family Christmas presents, but I think I'm gonna give it a pass this year. Don't have the money or energy. I do need to get my sister something for her birthday at the end of the month, though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I like that pendant a lot too, ita.

I've been using TJ's environmentally sound dishwasher detergent, and I like it okay, especially the price.
