I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

Happy Gotcha Day, msbelle & mac!

My DH has just informed me that he believes he has the 'flu. I have to work tomorrow, so we've booked the nanny for the girl (time and a half, yikes!). His cousin is coming to town (but is not staying with us, fortunately, as she is pregnant) so I guess I will be entertaining her on Sunday without J.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy Gotcha Day! That's awesome.

I am celebrating Furlough Friday by heading to my folks' to take care of stuff around the house with my father, but not for a little bit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Calculus for Cats (Paperback)

This is a book for people about to take calculus, and for survivors of calculus who still wonder what it was all about. It gently explains the basic concepts and vocabulary without making the reader ever do a single problem.

Even if you cringe at math, you'll enjoy the book's irreverent style and vivid imagery. A couple of hours from now, when you're done reading, you may be surprised that calculus no longer seems nearly so frightening

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I went to Redbones once in 1989. I really need to go back...
