I love Happy Gotcha Day. Enjoy!
I am at work after being home sick for two days. Not feeling the joy right now.

Also love Gotcha day.
Very glad it's Friday. What are people doing this weekend?
I am catching up on sleep, paying bills, and running errands.
This weekend they're working on the power in the datacenter YET AGAIN, so I have to come in before 6am Saturday to turn off all the servers, and then come back at 4am Sunday to turn them back on again.
In between, I might go to a hipster comic book show in Williamsburg, if I feel up to it.
Ugh, Tom. I am probably going to need to do some work too, and if I can't get my real computer back from the Genius Bar on Saturday I'll have to go in the office to do it, but nothing like that.
Was supposed to have Emeline's birthday party this weekend, but I am a bad mother and never got it booked. Plus, I went and almost dropped dead from The Ick so we would have had to cancel it anyway. So now I have no plans for the weekend except to finish cleaning up the mess of Thanksgiving and maybe do some Christmas shopping, which is pretty good with me.

Yay Gotcha Day!
I started the day...slowly. Oh well.
I didn't watch much TV last night but what I caught was good. John Oliver's interview with the Swiss ambassador made me uncomfortable and I was just watching it. I also watched the Susan Rice interview on TRMS (that was the only part I watched) and it was a good one. I'm glad that to see that a predominant liberal voice isn't at all sycophantic toward the Obama administration.
Of course, the Obama admin gets the Left riled up pretty well at times even if it isn't the we-have-to-take-back-the-country-from-the-Nazi-commies riled up the right gets.
Happy Gotcha Day, msbelle & mac!
My DH has just informed me that he believes he has the 'flu. I have to work tomorrow, so we've booked the nanny for the girl (time and a half, yikes!). His cousin is coming to town (but is not staying with us, fortunately, as she is pregnant) so I guess I will be entertaining her on Sunday without J.
Happy Gotcha Day! That's awesome.
I am celebrating Furlough Friday by heading to my folks' to take care of stuff around the house with my father, but not for a little bit.
