Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

An Overview of the Same-Sex Marriage Debate

Does that say "dogs and oats living together"?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does that say "dogs and oats living together"?

Yes, I think it does.

Coding and Sleeping

Well, that could go badly if the dogs decide to eat the oats. However, I don't think this an issue for gay marriage.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm earwormed with the opening monologue to Shoop by Salt'n'Pepa (how you doin', baby? / No, not you / You, the bow-legged one) with the visuals of the Winchester brothers and it's really hard to shake.

!!! If this is not a vid, it should be. NOW.

I love that mantis picture, it was the Nat'l Geo. Picture of the Day a couple of days ago. So Sci Fi looking.

There needs to be a SciFi SyFy movie about a half-man, half-mantis.

Man-tis!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, my god, it is only 9AM. Two hours away from lunch, and many hours away from the end of the day.

You must all entertain me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, there was M.A.N.T.I.S. Which...wasn't like that at all, but was still awesome. Although I don't appear to have a good memory of it, especially the finale. Oh, Wikipedia.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my god, it is only 9AM.

What time do you start? I start at 8, and find the 8-9 hour interminable, no matter how busy I am. I just had to plow through editing incomprehensible HTML (putting off the nigh-incomprehensible SQL for now) because the QA site doesn't do what I need screenshots of. I had to make a break for candy.

Guys with candy bowls on their desks can't mind attention, right? I mean, I always stop and smile when I come by for a piece of fake fruity goodness. I figure it's better than grabbing and running, but I can't imagine how much diversion he gets from all the other people too.

juliana, since I started noticing bow-leggedness on TV I've been compiling a list (which is short--Nathan from Heroes, Hotch from CM, Dean from SPN), but that song didn't hesitate with the imagery for me. And it makes more sense to me than Becky's monomaniacal Samgirlness. As a Deangirl, her brushoff made me sniff.
