* Alternatively, I might give them a number that I had inadvertently mistyped. That might still be the rage talking, though.
I may or may not have neglected to change my home phone number when I moved. They have never had my cell number. (and they never will)
After meetings (and she's said this is what she does for interviews), she likes to send an email and a paper thank-you note. The email says a formal note will follow. Is this good practice, or overkill?
I would say overkill, but what business are you in? for something like PR, I could see it maybe. Or if the meeting is a sales pitch.
Ay, the Manolo's blog has earwormed me with the Macarena.
Also, there is SNOW on the GROUND. WHAT THE HELL.
On the plus side, one of my coworkers brought in doughnuts.
If you were getting married and your spouse decided to re-enact a scene from
Superman II
with his friends during the ceremony, and your spouse didn't tell you ahead of time, would you be mad?
The Superman Wedding Video Is So Awkward, It’s Awesome
“Wow, thank you, Superman, for saving us from Zod. Now… it’s time to cut the cake.” HA! Between cringes, I keep hearing Jon Lovitz in my head, yelling, “ACTING!”
I haven't watched this yet. Someone tell us if this is as cringe-worthy as it sounds....
I would just suggest that she know her audience. There's that one NY foundation that is super obsessed with paper recycling, sending out award letters on backsides of previously used paper and such. Plus anything with a focus on environmrntal issues - things like that should only get an email - sending them unnecceary paper notes could strike them wrong.

I know them! Ha! I remember scouring DC looking for recycled paper that
looked
recycled, to send them something on. Luckily, now there's email.
OK, but what do you think about job interviews? I generally do one or the other kind of note, depending, but never both.
Also, there is SNOW on the GROUND. WHAT THE HELL.
Weather weirdness - it's in the high 60s here in Boston.
Work has my home number, but there is a 50/50 chance I'll answer it and t can be 24 hours before I pick up messages.
for dh they have work cell and some also have personal cell. His work cell works better in our house, so personal cell is iffy at best. I don't know f they have the land line
'd give ;em the cell number, but I wouldn't answer. Just let t go to voice mail. But until you know why they use it,I 'd control it. ( and any time on the phone that is not 'the building blew up ' would be billable as a contractor)
