Sirloin tip roast, slow cooker or not?

I say no - it's too lean a cut.

Now I need a new moniker for the ex. He started out as DH, then STBX, but now there is no more STB. Maybe just EH? Kinda fits.

I'd say No also. I'd broil it.

Maybe just EH? Kinda fits.

In deference to CJ I'll note that my divorce guidebook, "Mom's House, Dad's House," advocates against referring to your child's parent with the negative EX. Which is why I refer to Emmett's Mom as EM. Maybe, CJD? (CJ's Dad. That's your relationship to him now as you enter the exciting world of co-parenting.)

Good suggestion. While I would only use EH here, switching over mentally to CJD is probably a better idea.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like I need snow boots. What do we think of these? [link] They seem kind of expensive, but not if it's actually going to snow a lot, right? I'm assuming I'm shopping for something I can wear to work with skirts without looking like a jackass.

It's not like you moved to Alaska, Jesse! I dunno, rubber boots to work? Would you change shoes at work? If not, maybe look for leather? They make some stylish but warm leather boots.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They seem pricey for wellies, but I suppose that's the shearling part of it.

The thought was I would change at work, yes. I have no idea what I need! Maybe I will continue to wait and see. I looked at Lord and Taylor the other day, and the only leather ones that seemed like they had appropriate traction were $250. I guess I won't really be walking through snow, right? I mean, people clear the sidewalks here....
