I'm on a long call, and the caller, in South Carolina, wanted to start chatting about how right Glenn Beck is. Fortunately, he asked if I ever watched Beck, and he picked up the very cool tone of voice when I just "No."
Natter 64: Yes, we still need you
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Glade is my kryptonite.
I annoy myself enough by surfing the TV listings while I'm watching a show. I can't imagine surfing my saved programs. I'd never pay any attention to anything. But it's a feature I'd never considered.
I've never used any non-TiVo DVR software other than what shipped with my old VAIO, but I'm still irrationally attached to TiVo.
Comcast were the ones who said when they installed the DVR for me "Oh, you've had Tivo? You'll like this so much better."
With a straight face and everything? Wow.
The day before thanksgiving, while vacuming, K put her elbow through a window pane in our back door. That's been replaced and we have plexiglass that has been put up on both sides of the window. I'm feeling a bit better about the whole thing.
bon bon congrats on the tix! Can you get us tix for Ellen now?
I also find the constant bee-boop really annoying.
This can be turned off pretty easily.

Extremely, from what I've heard.
I'm glad the window was fixed and plexiglass up. Hard way to get around to doing it, but now no more worry.
Cleaned the rug in the front room. It's got some random darker and lighter spots (it's a jute-ish thing) from where cats have barfed before, hopefully this will even it out. Wet fiber makes Loki nutso-er than usual...
I'm home, after court, karate, drinks with the gals...thanks for giving me that bit of calm I needed earlier.
Done and done. Woot!!!
Man, it's been a year now but I'm still conditioned to cringe and look up what's airing on the cable channels when I see the words "Presidential Address."
