I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

Jilli - I know you said you'd already gotten the exhibit book for the Burton exhibit, do you have a brochure also? It folds out to a little poster, has the exhibit dates on it as well as a map of what galleries it is in, and then lists all the programming MOMA is doing around the exhibit.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Weird Facebook intrigue: I got an email saying someone someone I haven't seen since 1987 had added me as a friend. It was a different name, but he said the other name in his message. So I don't know if he's just incognito on Facebook, or what. But then I go to Facebook, and the friend request isn't there! Weird.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Most broadcast TV has switched over to 1080i these days, even if most "smaller" (under 40") TVs don't display it natively.

DCistas - do you know if the Pentagon Row ice rink rents toddler-sized skates? We're trying to figure out a game plan for today, and Pentagon Row is practically across the street from my in-laws house. We can't go anywhere in the car because we don't have a carseat with us (hazard of taking the train).

I have no idea! The name situation is megan walker-style, where I knew him with a very specific ethnic name, but he's on facebook with a very generic name.

Is it too soon to buy a wreath for my door? Will it totally dry out and fall apart in a month?

Good lord -- the mystery childhood friend wrote back, and he's "retired" from financial services, and living in Shanghai. Bananas!
