Oh man.
So I found a fresh turkey that cost 8 times as much as my overly brined one (and yes I bought it). But then I thought, we may as well make make the brined one because at the least it could be stock.
So we roasted the brined + injected one. And it is FINE. And now we are roasting the other turkey too. Double TURKEY!!
Have to make the bean casserole still and the biscuits. But Grace is here with us watching TV along with the family and Thanksgiving has never been better.
Yay for Grace's first Thanksgiving at home!
I am thankful that Grace is home for the Holiday, for Scola's annul turkey dinner picture, and that I don't have to celebrate two big ass holidays so close together.

Yea! That brings a smile to my face!
I'm about to watch WW The Indians in the Lobby while I eat chicken enchiladas.
Ahh, back from Thanksgiving dinner with Dad and his extended family. It was a blast to see everyone again.
My dear mother, who never lets an opportunity to nag me about losing weight pass her by, sent me home with an entire pumpkin pie and about 2/3 of the apple pie I baked. Yeah, the pounds are just going to melt away if I eat all that before it goes stale.
Yay for Grace at home!
I am OMG full, and happy to be in my own place! We always have Thanksgiving at my uncle's, with some of my aunt's family as well, and I cannot believe that her neice and nephew are as old as they are -- the little nephew drove the family to dinner! Given that I've seen them basically once a year for more than 10 years, the time goes especially fast with them. And then my cousin's baby said my name, and I felt like a winner. Good times.
