Yay for Grace at home!
I am OMG full, and happy to be in my own place! We always have Thanksgiving at my uncle's, with some of my aunt's family as well, and I cannot believe that her neice and nephew are as old as they are -- the little nephew drove the family to dinner! Given that I've seen them basically once a year for more than 10 years, the time goes especially fast with them. And then my cousin's baby said my name, and I felt like a winner. Good times.
So much YAY for Grace at home for Thanksgiving.
We had a very nice dinner and adult conversation. Now I am home without mac and really wish I had tomorrow off from work.
Missed my train back to NYC, and now I'm stuck waiting at the train station for an hour.
Jen! Did you move? How are things?
Hey! I am planning to move this coming Fri/Sat. Let's hope I find some movers to agree with me. Ahem. But I'm officially paying rent there as of 12/1, and new roomie has mailed the keys. So, I guess one week of paying double rent, but given how I am, that's not so bad. Things in general are good! How's Boston? How's your new place?
Grace home for Thanksgiving is FANTASTIC and heart melty.
I had a lovely day with my sister, her partner (plus her parents, brother and s-i-l), my mother, niece, and the best dog in the world. Good food, a nap, some football, and an easy ride both ways on 95.
Now Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is on. It's been years since I've watched it.
Sucks, Tom.
How's Boston? How's your new place?
So good! Good luck to you!
Oh, I'm so glad Grace was home for Thanksgiving!!
I'm here at my in-laws. DH just walked my brother back to the Metro and as soon as I'm done on the internets I think I shall go to sleep. Food. COMA.
Might I suggest my sister's livingroom for next year's F2F?
I've never missed one and I'd really hate to... but I'm never ever leaving this couch again.
My cats seem to hear something in the basement ceiling. They are going beserk. I can't hear anything.
Yay for Gracie's first Thanksgiving!
I went to my brother's and got plenty of face time with my 19 month-old great niece and my 5 week old great niece! But, my niece, the mother of the 19 month old, is so very, very pregnant with a son that she looks ready to pop any minute and miserable waiting for it to happen.
I made my first pumpkin pie, with a gluten-free crust and gluten-free stuffing. But they both were a little bit off: the stuffing was over-done and the pie crust was under-done.
