If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Daisy Jane!

Happy Thanksgiving Americanistas!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

"I stand beside him with an axe!" -which is oddly heartwarming.

Oh, that's awesomely craxy heartwarming! I just found a new tagline!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In non-heartwarming news, my cat has been hacking like for a hairball, but no hairball has come up. Do I need to take him to the vet? Any ideas?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Double Shit -- after digging in the garbage, it was an injected turkey... which means I just went and paid 8 times as much for another turkey that is fresh not frozen and I won't be bringing. ARGH. That's the definition of an idiot tax.

Good morning Tinogiving Day!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Happy Thanksgiving, Americanskis! Happy Thursday to the rest of you!

One of the best T-Days I ever had was spent in England, walking around the Tower of London and visiting the British Museum and so on.

Our wings are not tired.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Happy Birthday Daisy. Thanks for the offer, but my parents are in that area and are talking to families with young kids, teachers, realtors whatnot about various neighborhoods.

Watching the Parade a it should be. My cranberry salad is started and I'll do the rest in an hour or so. Now, coffee.

Because books.

I'm watching the parade, too, with a sleeping kitten on my lap. The turkey's in, or so I'm told, so now it's just the countdown to eating.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm watching the Macy's parade and putting up the tree. There are some lovely ropes of crystal-like drops that should go on it first. I can't find the blasted things. I had them last year, in the same apartment. There aren't that many places I could have put them. Hmmmmmm.

At least my back closet is getting organized as I look.

I do love the Thanksgiving-to-New Years decorated period. Sure, it's dark when I get home. But that's so the lights will look extra pretty.

This is my first tree time with the cat. So far he's sniffed the artificial tree once and gone off to explore the box it came in for half an hour. Which is exactly how I hoped it would go.
