Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

but not at night and not a Friday night.

This is a big movie going weekend, too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Walking kicks doesn't conjure it for you?

I guess walking kicks could mean you do a side-kick with every step.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If it's a small enough meeting I say mention to the other folks to get there on time and start without him. That or envoke the 10/15 min rule and if he is later than that cancel the meeting. It astounds me that no one above him has called him on his unprofessionalism.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess walking kicks could mean you do a side-kick with every step.

What does "walking leg kick" have in it that means you don't?

tommy, thing is, he doesn't move. I always know where he is, it's just never in the meeting room.

He had me take over a meeting for him yesterday because he was out ill. Turns out he never sent out invitations or booked a room, so I had to cram us into the worst conference room at the last minute. He swears he had sent out a recurring meeting that must have gotten yanked. Weird thing is, I never received it. I wonder if any of the other attendees have.

Still, no motion towards the meeting. And I know he has a 10:30.

It astounds me that no one above him has called him on his unprofessionalism.

They don't know, although they must have noticed him coming late to the meetings they call.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

ita, you need to shoot New Guy with a GPS tracker thingie, and then develop a web-based application so we can all track his movements through our computers.

Maybe a website like isitsaturday.net but IsNewGuyLateForHisMeeting.com

He should not have a job, or at least not this one. Why he offends me so much I am not sure.

Oh, it doesn't, really. Hec said it was just as imprecise. Maybe it emphasizes the leg over the foot?

He should not have a job, or at least not this one. Why he offends me so much I am not sure.

Because people who actually would show up on time for things don't have jobs.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They don't know, although they must have noticed him coming late to the meetings they call.

And have they noticed the crazy long lunches?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Smallish work rant:

I'm pretty sure it takes some time to put up a billboard in Times Square. So why am I getting a request just today for a landing page that will need to be created and sent to dev early next week because the billboard features that URL "prominently" and goes up the week after.

When they were planning the billboard, did they not think a little heads up would've been good?

He works crazy long other hours, so I don't think he's going to get dinged on that. But the meeting thing? It's 18 past the hour, and he's not twitching towards the meeting room yet. I'm torn. I don't particularly want or need this meeting. It's all about him staying on top of things. But my life will go easier if he knows what's going on.
