He works crazy long other hours, so I don't think he's going to get dinged on that. But the meeting thing? It's 18 past the hour, and he's not twitching towards the meeting room yet. I'm torn. I don't particularly want or need this meeting. It's all about him staying on top of things. But my life will go easier if he knows what's going on.

The walking kicks make me think of Cossack dancers shouting "Hey! Hey! Hey!" Or possibly the Addams Family.
So...I asked him about the meeting and he muttered something about having a 10:30 and why don't we meet after lunch instead (our meeting was only half an hour, not far away). And I made him formally reschedule, which he didn't plan to do. But I have other things I can parcel my afternoon out on, and those people actually show up.
ita, that is completely unacceptable and ridiculous. Someone needs to tell him that it's extremely inconvenient for everyone else when he pulls this shit.
I miss the West Wing; well, I miss all of the seasons before Peggy, er, Zoe, got kidnapped.
I like going to the movies by myself, but not at night and not a Friday night. I kinda hate people is the thing.

I am now thinking I might hit MOMA right after work and then do dinner. I can take as long as I want at each!

MOMA has free Friday nights, too! And this weekend will be less touristy than most!
Well, he's currently running late for his 10:30. And he's about to email work home to the guy on vacation for the rest of the week. Sure, the guy off shouldn't check his mail, but still. It's not fair to actually ask vacating people to work.
I've named this Thanksgiving. I'm calling it "The Thanksgiving of Mom's Disapproval." Included on the 2-record set are the hit songs "Why Aren't You Married?" And "Sports Is No Place for an Educated Woman" and "Didn't Anyone Ever Tell You How to Cook a Turkey?"
Oh, hey, how am I supposed to tip for a haircut again? Is it okay to put a percentage on my card? Going to a new place, don't know how much the cut will be or if there is a separate shampoooer or what and I don't actually have any cash...
