I found out today that my passport expired last year, it's going to be much more a pain getting a new one now, isn;t it?

The level of ignorance on display is somewhat staggering. (Though to be fair, I'm not sure the audience at an Obama book signing in 2006 would have done any better.)

Same here. I'm living in Angry Central lately anyway (and came thisclose to walking out of Mass on Sunday, and I need to talk to my pastor about it because the rage issues are sliding me into crisis-of-faith territory, which is a very dark, very bad place for me to be).
