My mom used both those lines too, that's probably why I use them.
Speaking of, my youngest is wakeful. This is not good for grading.

The Holidays is probably a factor. Grandparents being here this weekend is another. Having to go to court tomorrow for US adoption decree finality is yet another. No blows, so that was good, but his reading notebook with 2.5 months of homework may be destroyed beyond repair, certainly every page with work on it was torn out.

So far this morning I have (1) spilled a pint of homemade turkey stock ALL over the kitchen, (2) cursed loudly at myself, causing Dylan to start crying, (3) spent half an hour cleaning turkey stock out of everything on all of my kitchen counters while DH calmed our son down, and (4) finally got to work to discover that THE COFFEE MAKER IS BROKEN.
I have now finally achieved both coffee AND bagel with the help of a Starbucks and a deli and would like the rest of today to please go more smoothly.
