I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The computer cleaner spray-can stuff. She just sucked on it constantly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I had NO IDEA what a whippet was (though I was fairly sure it was not a big skinny dog), nor that anyone would suck on pressurized noxious vapors in a can. Are there any kids left with traditional values who just smoke good old-fashioned joints in the bathroom during study hall?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Bob bob's father didn't want him to learn Greek b/c in the 70s he thought it might adversely affect his integration into US culture. Now my in-laws use it (or Italian) against us both.

In ninth grade we smuggled in vodka to drink at lunch the day we had rolling skating in gym!

Good times.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My father's family mostly spoke Russian amongst themselves. He didn't speak it to us at home or try to teach it to us at all, but he'd mostly talk to his mother and brother in Russian because they were more comfortable in it. I never picked up any, I don't think my sister did, my brother took Russian in school and speaks it with a Southern drawl. My mom took some Russian in college and can understand it pretty well, and, you know, as far as I was concerned it was just a little easier to tune out than adults talking about stuff I wasn't interested in in English, so it never seemed rude.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I sometimes wish members of my family spoke a language I didn't understand.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

My redundancy is a sign of my extreme exhaustion (or at least it is this time). Sorry.

Two words: Jello. Shots.

Some of mine do: CrazyTalk.

my brother took Russian in school and speaks it with a Southern drawl.

I'm imagining this, and it's making me happy.
