I am very consciously doing lots of "last" things in NY now. We very likely would not have gone ice skating two weeks ago if I didn't think it was the last winter here. We will be going to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Big Apple Circus and going to see all the holiday windows this year.
Aw -- so many things I haven't done! But it seems likely I will go visit around Christmas soon, if not this year.

Jeanne-Claude died. [link] (Of Jeanne-Claude and Christo). It's sad -- she had a great life, gave up everything for art, and was a funny person. I saw them in NYC once, holding hands.
