Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination. Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

Because books.

SWITCH IS PERFECT!

Heh.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sweet zombie Jesus! Tim Lincecum won the NL Cy Young again. Bit of an upset over the two Cardinal pitchers Wainwright and Carpenter.

Heh, the Giants blog is alight with a thousand goofy happy dancing gifs. (Including but not limited to: Shermy, Sprockets, Pete Campbell, Lebowski, and Conan O'Brien)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Cullen is a good name for a cat.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A sparkly cat.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

See, I was thinking punch, definitely muffins, a little music ...

Heh.

I am very consciously doing lots of "last" things in NY now. We very likely would not have gone ice skating two weeks ago if I didn't think it was the last winter here. We will be going to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Big Apple Circus and going to see all the holiday windows this year.

Aw -- so many things I haven't done! But it seems likely I will go visit around Christmas soon, if not this year.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Callen is a good name for a cat. Not one that sparkles--one that's had 37 foster homes in 13 years, or something.

Because books.

I hasten to say that Sara named him Bella and has no knowledge of Twilight or its spakliness. That I know of.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jeanne-Claude died. [link] (Of Jeanne-Claude and Christo). It's sad -- she had a great life, gave up everything for art, and was a funny person. I saw them in NYC once, holding hands.

On a different note, Letterman making fun of Roger Clark? NO! [link]

(Also...was Letterman drunk? I've heard that slurred speech before. Or did he have some dental work?)

Awesomely, someone linked in the comments to Roger and Pat Kiernan singing Rick Astley. Heart.
