I had a whole section about civic pride.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Carrental.com seems to be broken right now - no matter what dates I put in, it thinks I want to rent a car for a whole YEAR!

Hotwire right now has the lowest I've seen, and it's still twice was it was last week. Bah.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

NICEVILLE?

I used to live down the road from Beaulieu in Hampshire. It's a nice place...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Taser gun used on 10-year-old girl who 'refused to take shower'

People really suck.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just noticed that one of my potential students lives in Niceville, Florida. NICEVILLE?

I've been there! I had a fantastic po' boy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think if you can expect the cops to take action because your kid won't shower it's fair for a kid to think cops will take action because they are banned from their XBox.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, they're all assholes there.

I got mugged in Nice, France. Still have a wee scar in the middle of my forehead, and that was 14 years ago.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm trying to figure out if I should sign up for a health savings account for next year. Between needing new glasses after New Years, finally getting my ass over to the dentist for a long-delayed cleaning, and having surgery, I probably should save at least the tax on those expenses, right?

I don't see a down side. If it's the sort of savings account that I'm used to it also makes the full amount available to you before you've finished contributing to it even if you never finish contributing to it. Just make sure there's nothing left to roll over.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I probably should save at least the tax on those expenses, right?

Yes. And ita's right about the full amount being available to you even if you change jobs before the end of the year.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

And ita's right about the full amount being available to you even if you change jobs before the end of the year

Kind of. The full amount is available as long as the purchases were made prior to your termination date. I left my job this year and the official termination date was 6/8/09. I could make claims on the full amount as long as all the purchases were made on or before 6/8/09.
