Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ha! I'm watching MASH, and Hawkeye is complaining that the British army gives their soldiers tea when they get injured, and it seeps through the abdominal injuries and makes a mess of the abdominal cavity. Charles commented, "What can you expect from a country with socialized medicine?"

OK, this is a very odd episode of MASH. British guy just cited the Charge of the Light Brigade as an example of bravery and doing the right thing even when it seems stupid. Kind of glossing over the "Not though the soldiers knew, someone had blundered" bit.

I may have a copy of my purged FAQ somewhere on my hard drive. I swear I wanted to cut 40-50% of stuff.

Speaking of clearing out, I clean out a box full of stuff tonight and tossed a small pile of broken parts of things sitting around that mac had played with this summer. YAY! I large shopping bag goes to the thrift store tomorrow.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I love compiling bags for the thrift store. It always feels like a small victory.

I am so tired. Why am I still so tired?

Thanks.

FYI, your thoughts are pretty much my thoughts.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh my God.

I have just watched episodes 13-22 of Trapped in the Closet.

Oh my God. It is the most amazingly awful thing I have ever seen. I cannot believe it truly exists.

I don't know if I can stand 12 more episodes of R. Kelly describing what is going on onscreen, but I feel compelled to watch the first half now, even though the events were succinctly recapped and punctuated with "Aw, shit!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude. It's R Kelly. He pees on 14 year olds. Why give him your time?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I love the way he reacts to every single thing that startles him by pulling out his gun. "A dwarf! AIEEE!!"
