Also, Dylan is convinced that the man in What Was I Scared Of? is going to eventually wear the pale green pants with nobody inside them, if only he can catch them. On every page he announces either "He's going to wear them!" or "He's not going to wear them, they're running away."

I remember the lemon meringue from the pine burger place last time!
I have to dye my hair this weekend. Probably sunday after my last swim until I get back from the holidays. Got a lot more white hair, plus even with conditioner, pool is bleaching the bits that escape the cap.
Second night in a row I'm not eating dinner until now. But I got Devi's food and still got in 45 laps in the pool, so. Going to be interesting to see what happens with a week off. I've only missed a swim twice since I started almost 3 months ago.
I kind of feel like we should archive the old FAQ and start fresh -- but also like we've had this conversation before, and at length.
Yeah, I had that thought too.
And notice how I cleverly went offline before anyone could volunteer me for the FAQ.

You think everyone hasn't already decided you're doing it?
I have no idea what you're talking about.
I went to Pilates with a new teacher tonight. She was an older Japanese woman who was tiny and ethereal and spoke in a lilting quiet voice and KICKED OUR ASSES. I will be limping tomorrow, fo sho.
It's okay, Dana. We can wait for it to click for you.
I would be happy to work on the FAQ (but not 'til December), but I think my purging tendencies might cause a revolt.
Ha! I'm watching MASH, and Hawkeye is complaining that the British army gives their soldiers tea when they get injured, and it seeps through the abdominal injuries and makes a mess of the abdominal cavity. Charles commented, "What can you expect from a country with socialized medicine?"
OK, this is a very odd episode of MASH. British guy just cited the Charge of the Light Brigade as an example of bravery and doing the right thing even when it seems stupid. Kind of glossing over the "Not though the soldiers knew, someone had blundered" bit.
