Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did your cat come tagged?

Yes.

Our wireless at home isn't named at all. Hmmm... sad. I might be tempted by monkey because that is perfect!

So okay, I may have found a preschool (yay!) it's just this side of affordable. Panic panic panic.

Jesse, can you find a job for me too?

Now I want to name it Digital Underground. It kind of fits!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Referencing the Itch article: I read the whole thing, she scratched through her damn SKULL? some of it I knew already, from researching (fruitlessly) the persistent maddening itch I had a few years ago, from neck to thighs, that had me scratching until I bled, with no apparent cause whatsoever. Nothing helped but Zyrtec, not even other antihistamines. However, I did not scratch out my internal organs. In this article I was especially interested when they said this could possibly have something in common with tinnitus. If they could come up with a way to fool my brain into turning OFF the damn noise in my ears, I would pay them a lot of money.

fatty acid supplements could help.

They did help me, and I won't stop taking fish-flax-borage oil supplements anymore, for fear of the Itch.

Innocuous computer name? I suggest "nothing".

If I ever get a second router or similar thing that requires naming on set-up, it will probably be noodle. I guess the TiVO required naming, but I think it is called myfirstname or home. I swear my computer did not require a name, the iPod did and I think it is max or max2 (second ipod), but I never refer to it as such.

My iPod is Jesse's iPod, but no one sees that. I feel like my neighbors will judge my network.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Our wireless at home isn't named at all

Can you not have a name? I can see if you have the default name that came with the router, but your wireless devices need to know what they're connecting to somehow.

If they could come up with a way to fool my brain into turning OFF the damn noise in my ears

Oh, god, yes. I miss silence. I haven't had any in almost 20 years. Not even close.
