I think I posted this in Bitches, not here, a few days ago: I have a pregnant co-worker who won't get vaccinated for H1N1 because she doesn't "want to give her baby autism." Her other objection is that "they" didn't test the vaccine and she doesn't want to be a "guinea pig" for "them."

Considering that we're a medical publisher, I was gobsmacked at her willful ignorance.

Oh, obviously - I'm just saying you could politely and innocently ask for links to the double-blinded peer-reviewed studies proving that this stuff works. I mean, surely nobody would be so irresponsible as to be selling medicine online without first testing for safety and efficacy! Think of the children they could be putting at risk with that kind of behavior!
