We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've got tomorrow off of work--I'm filling up my car with my two boxes of stuff and my old dvd player first thing in the morning (well, second thing after I do laundry) and taking it over to Goodwill, then stopping by Target for the Star Trek dvd and the Glee CD and then the grocery store for the stuff I didn't get on Friday night. Then I get to come home and watch a movie while I get back to cross-stitching. That's after I sleep in--I am not setting my alarm and will see how long I get to sleep.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, I hate the Castle opening credits. Almost as much as the Leverage ones. Which I hope don't last long. But they both take lines I like from the show and beat them into the ground.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Congrats javachik! Nice payoff for all the hard work!

I concur, ita.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I know a 90 year old man in pain all the time from a shingles infection. So Javachik, let me thank you and the company you work for on his behalf.

ION - wearing new shoes with brown dress and tights - AWESOME!

ran into a kid who graduated from a school the year I worked there - 4 years ago. I wasn't a teacher or directly involved witht he kids and he recalled my name. That kid was crazy good at stuff like that even back in highschool, if he doesn't at least try at politics at some point, I will be shocked.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure the old francs were the coins that worked as tokens in the Boston subway, back in the day. Good times.

Librarian Warlord

I had plans to see Mary Karr speak tonight

Oh, she's fantastic. I saw her and Frank McCourt together once upon a time at the 92nd St. Y and they were hilarious as they compared childhoods.

Congratulations, java!

News from the vet is that the dog is much better, and has finally eaten something that stayed down. I saw her briefly last night when I dropped off her seizure medicine, and she was about as energetic as a dishrag. She should be able to come home this afternoon.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

News from the vet is that the dog is much better

Yay!

Glad Sass is doing better... poor noodle.

These caramel stuffed apple cider cookies must be made soon. They look amazing.

Oh, Kat, how can you be so EEEEVIL?

IOW, I need to make those cookies, too.
