There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not sure how I feel about eggnog itself, so that adds to the weird for me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've mentioned before that I've taken several online tests for Asperger's that showed I'm kinda borderline Aspie. Now it turns out my youngest son seems to have Asperger's. Huh.

My sis says:

He is very creative and all the teachers love him. But, he can be oppositional, disruptive, have quick angry outbursts, and different socially. But the teachers reiterate how much they love working with him. That's good!

As a kid, I was not generally disruptive, but I occasionally had angry outbursts and was somewhat socially awkward.

Trust my rage

IME, leaving early is less likely to be noticed than arriving late. But I don't think I've ever worked in a work place where either would have been tolerated. When I worked for CIS (federal government) our director used to stand by the sign in sheet and watch us come in. If we were more than 7 minutes late, we were docked a .25 hours in pay. Are you surprised I left?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

That is one of the things I love about my job. I can flex my hours as long as I get my work done. I normally come in early/leave early.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't care how late anyone leaves--you show up for meetings you schedule. Hell, you show up on time for meetings you accept, which he hasn't quite accomplished either.

Good thing just happened--called my boss to see if I could take the full day off tomorrow to sleep in and run errands, and even though she was planning on taking day off herself, she did approve my PTO if I got my coworker to cover the morning email of documents. She said she could cover it, so I'm am off tomorrow! Between that and the half-day on Thursday afternoon for my doctor's consult, I'm down to 5 1/2 days left for the year. Don't know when I'll take them; most likely as half-days here and there.
