Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't care how late anyone leaves--you show up for meetings you schedule. Hell, you show up on time for meetings you accept, which he hasn't quite accomplished either.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Good thing just happened--called my boss to see if I could take the full day off tomorrow to sleep in and run errands, and even though she was planning on taking day off herself, she did approve my PTO if I got my coworker to cover the morning email of documents. She said she could cover it, so I'm am off tomorrow! Between that and the half-day on Thursday afternoon for my doctor's consult, I'm down to 5 1/2 days left for the year. Don't know when I'll take them; most likely as half-days here and there.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, it got to be noon when I wasn't even looking. I ordered sushi and it's taking FOREVER to get here. Hungry - want food NOW.

My slice of choco cake was delicious. I did not put a candle in it.

(Ooh, my whining worked: lunch is here!)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

“Unfriend” is Oxford Dictionary’s Word of the Year

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I waver between "unfriend" and "defriend." I think you unfriend on Facebook and defriend on LJ.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Which is different than “umfriend”.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Which is different than “umfriend”.

How's that speed dating working out for you, Tom?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I believe that soundtrack implies the substitution of "-buddy" for "-friend," and a different prefix.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Question about this - two unrelated podcasts I was listening to this weekend were pronouncing this "brown chicken, brown cow!" Was this a freakish coincidence, or is that actually a thing people say?
