Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Jessica. That does sound amazing, although so does homemade empanadas. mmm.

BTW I'm just wondering what others do in this sitch: Temp is 99.6, so technically not a fever, but close. Do most people take the next day off of work to get better? I was just going to go in and teach my classes and go home. Is that bad?

Burrell, she reposted over in Bitches:

I posted twice by accident, didn't want to look like I was bragging :)

I am finally hanging stuff on walls.

Ahead of me!

Burrell, I'd say it depends on the cause of the fever is, how much energy you have, etc. If from the flu, check CDC guidelines, I guess.

Cleaning done. Well, not the dusting. I hate dusting. And my table is still a cluttered mess.

Burrell, for me it would totally depend on how my sick leave worked and if I would actually get to rest if I stayed home. Generally fever for me is an auto stay at home, but if it was low and I felt I could swing it, I might go just to save days. feel better.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'd go into work, but maybe just for half a day.

Vortex's dinner sounds yummy. I'm going to a vegan potluck....I made vegan peanut butter cookies.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The hanging didn't go as well as planned -- I used one of those removable hooks, and it fell right down! For other stuff, I used existing screws, and the possibly-risky method of jamming those sawtooth picture hangers onto and edge of brick.

I don't think I have the flu. I'm not achey and miserable, just a sore throat. Also is 99.6 a fever?

I'd go into work, but maybe just for half a day.

That was kind of my plan (just teach = leave around noon) before my temp spiked. I don't know.

It is for me, but my normal is 97.9.
