Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Cookie Monster invented death metal, too: [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sue, a friend of mine has two Great Pyranees dogs, and they are both great big teddy bears. FWIW.

Excellent with the speed-dating matches, Tom!

sarameg, I can't even express how wonderful I think this and your dad are. Reading about groups like this and Spiritus Christi give me hope for the human species, when most times I have little.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

COOO-KIE!!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

C IS FOR COOKIE AND THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My niece is "one of the few female death-metal vocalists". She thinks the term Cookie Monster singing is funny.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Do the Lolcat people acknowledge Cookie Monster as their inspiration?

What "Lolcat people"? The user who contributed the first Om Nom Nom lolcat? Anyway, "nom nom" or "om nom" or etc. was around the internets before lolcats, although of course much less often.

(Part of the reason it's hard to pin down lolcat people is that much of the typical lolcat syntax was already in 4chan and somethingawful cat macros before the phenomenon got more mainstream; I don't know if "nom" was big in lolcatese back in those days and I'm not asking those guys for citations.)

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I will post this to gaming as well, but it's cool for any zombie fan. Here's how you make a game trailer. [link]

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My talented and charming husband was quoted in the New York Times today [link] He is at the end of the article. My mother, who has read the Times my whole life, is OVER THE MOON with excitement about this. Me too, actually.

Awesome! A Sportster is the only Harley I can pick up, therefore it was the only bike my biker friends would even try to teach me to ride.
