Do the Lolcat people acknowledge Cookie Monster as their inspiration?
What "Lolcat people"? The user who contributed the first Om Nom Nom lolcat? Anyway, "nom nom" or "om nom" or etc. was around the internets before lolcats, although of course much less often.
(Part of the reason it's hard to pin down lolcat people is that much of the typical lolcat syntax was already in 4chan and somethingawful cat macros before the phenomenon got more mainstream; I don't know if "nom" was big in lolcatese back in those days and I'm not asking those guys for citations.)
This sounds like a topic for... Language Lab!
I will post this to gaming as well, but it's cool for any zombie fan. Here's how you make a game trailer. [link]
My talented and charming husband was quoted in the New York Times today [link] He is at the end of the article. My mother, who has read the Times my whole life, is OVER THE MOON with excitement about this. Me too, actually.
Awesome! A Sportster is the only Harley I can pick up, therefore it was the only bike my biker friends would even try to teach me to ride.
That's so exciting, Scrappy!!

Ahahaha, that's awesome. They did something similar for the
Crank 2
trailer, but this takes it even further. Very nice.
I think this weekend I will venture into a department store for the first time in about a year. I need tights and hose.
That plus headache management and more typical erranding are all that is on my schedule. Weekends are slow in my neck of the woods.
I saw the Crank one too (someone here posted it, right?). Really creative.

My beloved Mac laptop has died, and I'm certain my DH is going to be all common sense and reasonable and tell me that I shouldn't buy another because we don't need it and have this sticky wicket called a budget.
