I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So my work has to let more people go by year-end. 2 people from our department, who were in all likelihood on the shortlist of folks to chop, resigned in the last 2 weeks. It is such a load off.

ION, I am Jesse wrt did lots yesterday therfore no desire to do anything today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I got to work at 9:00 and it's only 10:23? Who's resting their foot on the brake pedal of Time?

Do people think that Nom Nom Nom came from Cookie Monster? My coworker thinks so, and this had never occurred to me.

This weekend I will be solo with the kids, so trying to keep them occupied and busy enough that we don't squabble. Trip out for donuts, raking leaves, kiddie dance party at a bar downtown, baking (chocolate "bikini" bread!).

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Do people think that Nom Nom Nom came from Cookie Monster?

Yep. He's even been interviewed about it: [link]

Yeah, that was the source of my coworker's statement. Do the Lolcat people acknowledge Cookie Monster as their inspiration?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What's chocolate bikini bread??

I wouldn't have thought of Cookie Monster as the source of NOM NOM NOM, but have heard that before.

My children call zucchini bread "bikini" bread. It started as a two-year-old can't pronounce it thing, and now we all call it that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is cute, but less exciting than I was hoping for...

What should I look out for? Or is it something to be avoided?

Oh, it's funny!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Cookie Monster invented death metal, too: [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sue, a friend of mine has two Great Pyranees dogs, and they are both great big teddy bears. FWIW.

Excellent with the speed-dating matches, Tom!

sarameg, I can't even express how wonderful I think this and your dad are. Reading about groups like this and Spiritus Christi give me hope for the human species, when most times I have little.
