Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Jessimoon!

It was very beautiful at Ocean Beach yesterday, though the only evidence of it being November was the weak autumnal light. It was warm enough that Matilda could run barefoot through the cold Pacific surf.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Does anyone here drink raw milk? One of the vendors at the farmers' market yesterday mentioned that they do herdshares for people who want raw milk. (And I bought the most amazing fresh sour cream from them, made from milk from their Jersey cows. Oh god. I can never buy mass-produced sour cream again.)

I've toyed with getting a herdshare for raw milk, but I can't seem to pull the trigger.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have friends who were told it was the thing to get if you have animals, but they find it very hard to get the hair off of it.

I have an inherited microsuede couch, and the fur comes off no problem with one of those rubber covered sponge thingies or a Rubba Scrubba if you're a Flybaby. [link]

They only print t-shirts, but TS Designs is the BOMB. [link] They have organic cotton and are working to grow it here in NC, and use this amazing non-toxic printing process that results in graphics with the same feel as the rest of the shirt.

Here's a site for t-shirts made in the US that are not AA. [link]

Why is AA bad again?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Jessica!

I have my car back. I am a lot poorer for it, but my bumper is now firmly attached and I can do mundane things like have my car washed without worrying chunks of it are going to fall off. But since the body shop washed the car, I don't even need to do that for a while.

Steph, I used to drink fresh Jersey milk for a while when I was living on my own in England. It was a meal in a bottle. I loved it.

I drank raw buffalo milk in India. It was nasty.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does anyone here drink raw milk?

We did when I was a kid. Fresh from the cows.

Pro'lly not useful info for you, as you don't live on a dairy farm.
