I bet the lions thought it was the Best Toy Ever, and for years and years they're going to reminisce about it.
Like when you find a $20 in a coat pocket, or find a candy bar stashed away that you didn't know you had but oh my god you really needed chocolate and it was like magic that it appeared?
I think it's a shame the lions weren't allowed to eat the deer since it had to be euthanized anyway. (I mean, I get that zoo animals are on a highly regulated diet and lord knows what kinds of diseases the Rock Creek Park deer population carries, but it still seems kind of mean not to let them enjoy the spoils of their only hunt EVER.)
Most of our corporate t-shirts are American Apparel and they fall apart the second time you wash them.
Hm. They do have a lot of different fabrics for wholesale, so maybe that's the difference? Because my Glarkware shirts are all AA, and I think the Venture Bros. shirts were as well. And they've all held up so far.
And happy birthday, Jessica! I'm too tired to think of a clever wish, but: may your t-shirts never wear out.
Ooh. Can I have this?
Venn diagram tee shows the bittersweet between happy and sad
Diesel Sweeties' R. Stevens and Ariana Osborne are offering this wordy Venn diagram shirt showing the bittersweet territory between happiness and sadness for $18-19, and taking pre-orders now.

Does anyone here drink raw milk? One of the vendors at the farmers' market yesterday mentioned that they do herdshares for people who want raw milk. (And I bought the most amazing fresh sour cream from them, made from milk from their Jersey cows. Oh god. I can never buy mass-produced sour cream again.)
I've toyed with getting a herdshare for raw milk, but I can't seem to pull the trigger.
I have friends who were told it was the thing to get if you have animals, but they find it very hard to get the hair off of it.
I have an inherited microsuede couch, and the fur comes off no problem with one of those rubber covered sponge thingies or a Rubba Scrubba if you're a Flybaby. [link]
They only print t-shirts, but TS Designs is the BOMB. [link] They have organic cotton and are working to grow it here in NC, and use this amazing non-toxic printing process that results in graphics with the same feel as the rest of the shirt.
Here's a site for t-shirts made in the US that are not AA. [link]
