I reduced my Comcast bill by $40 this morning. DH is going to cancel our gym membership at the gym neither of us has been to in months, so that'll be another $90. Budget is very close to balancing.

Now that I think of it, I say "predominantly" but I write "predominately."
Predominately, anyway.
Consistency is a hobgoblin.
Fowler's says predominately is older (1594 v. 1681) but was rarely used until the 19th century. Now, however, predominantly is overwhelmingly the commoner and is what they recommend.

PREDOMINATE! But only in ASSCAPS and if you say it in a Dalek voice. Otherwise I think the evidence is that 9 out of 10 people will look at predominately and go "wha-huh?"
