Apparently there is a threat of snow showers tonight.
I'm mostly blanking on that music video (rock) where they display title cards and one of them is "It is cold where someone you love is." I have at least tried not to be the cold person for anyone who cares about me, but the air conditioning at the new job makes that harder.
OK, I have had found the stamps, had a meeting, had a job interview, and gotten $60 taken off my Comcast bill. Not bad so far, but I guess I should do some actual work....
I had my mammo. Got to see my doctor. She reminded me that I'm fat.
Today can end anytime.
Does anyone have an opinion on "predominantly" vs. "predominately"? It's confusing me.

Van Halen 2.0's Right Now?

The former is a word. The latter isn't. The way to remember is the former has the
dominant
root. ("Dominate" is a word too, but it's a noun, not an adjective.)
Oh, never mind, they're both words.

The second is just a variant. But I like, and use, the first.

Not according to Merriam-Webster.

Yes.
We should just pick one and use that.
"Predominately" is my fave.
I've never heard of predominately!

Yeah, me too. Everything I can find says that, more or less, "predominately" is correct, but I really want to correct it to "predominantly."

I do check the dictionary first before I ask stupid questions.
