Angel: Yeah, I never told anyone about this, but I-I liked your poems. Spike: You like Barry Manilow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You in town over Xmas, bon? If there's anything up then, we should.

If Netflix streams AD, I'll have another look. Don't tell savannah. She'll think she won.

msbelle, those are so cute.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wow msbelle, great pics. I love the jump. Such glee!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Hulu has season one of AD. I will probably be out the 2-3 days surrounding Xmas but otherwise...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The low point for me was Martin Short. I thought the Charlize Theron episodes were still funny.

Our wings are not tired.

I *loved* Arrested Development!

And that is because you have excellent taste, Teppy! Do you remember the scene?

ita, you need to watch it from the beginning. It's genius. And everyone's right; the Charlize Theron eps were a low-point. But the show has so many callbacks that if you don't watch from the beginning, half the jokes are lost on you. It's not streaming from Netflix, but I love that damned show so much that I'd buy you a dvd player and the dvds if you were willing to give it another shot!!

My first iPod was named Annyong. My iPhone is called Gobias.

ETA: Just checked Amazon, and it is available streaming through them...

Is there anyone on the board who might be able to translate a paragraph of somewhat legalese German for me?

I'd be happy to, Perkins, if it isn't too late.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

So, I woke up wondering how many black players there are in the NHL. 14 forwards (I'm not including affiliates) Four defensemen. 2 Goalies (though one hasn't played yet this season). Only two teams have more than one black player (NJ Devils and Nashville Predators).

This comes up because Wayne Simmonds plays for LA Kings and I always call him the loneliest man in the NHL. K disagrees.

This led me to look up how many Asian players there are in the NHL, which is an even smaller number -- there are 4 on non-affiliate teams. So I guess I should zip it about Simmonds being the loneliest man in the NHL and say it about Paul Kariya instead.

Kat is turning into a puckhead.

Those are awesome pictures of mac. I met him this fall and he was really bright and engaging. He's a great kid. And msbelle is great around him.
