Good call, Cash.

Java, I've never watched FNL. I enjoy SPN, which is better (and more frustrating) than it has a right to be, but I'd recommend new Who.
eta:
If Owen took the time to put them on the list, he deserves ice cream sandwiches.
If he spelt sandwiches right he double deserves them.
Coolness. I LOVE all the input. Thanks, ita!
I am a HUGE SPN fan, java, I just think you'd like Friday Night Lights better.
From what I know about each of those shows, both appeal to me a lot. Is JP a better actor on SPN than he was on GG?
FNL is the one I would recommend most unreservedly.
I didn't know Owen was old enough to write...go him. Ice cream sandwiches are a personal fave, not as much as drumsticks.
I have FNL on my Netflix streaming queue and I just haven't pushed the button. I'm not sure what's holding me back. I have never heard a bad word about it. Plus there's Aldis Hodge up in there.
But Doctor Who!!!! Yeah, I could be underinformed and overbiased.
Is JP a better actor on SPN than he was on GG?
Yes. Especially in later seasons.
I love all three shows, java. Supernatural is great if you like horror-type stories with an increasingly complex mythology that is inextricably tied to familial relatonships. Friday Night Lights is great if you like real, honest emotions in a show that will tear your heart out but is also not afraid to give characters what they want and make them happy without killing them off three seconds later. Doctor Who is great if you like wacky intergalactic/intertemporal adventures that tend to culminate in the fate of the entire universe being at stake.
Are people who aren't already watching Doctor Who going to love it? That's my reservation, I don't know if it is worth having.
