ALL ONE!! ALL ONE!! And at least Dr. B's label is pure nostalgia on his kids' part at this point, plus they've gone organic and stuff.
That site looks far less crazy than the others. It seems like a legitimate soap-selling site. Where's the crazy? I can't find what's so magic about the soap.
I'll briefly be up to 8 computers since I'll be acquiring an iMac, but I'll shuffle out a computer to my aunt to return back to 7 shortly afterwords.
I'll have to decide whether to give my aunt (and her two daughters) the iMac or Leif's computer. Leif would then get the spare computer which is a decent machine (Athlon 64 3700). Having my aunt switch to OS X is a scary tech support prospect. All the memorized and written down sequences would have to be redone.
I was just telling the boss's boss that I got accepted, and the guy whose cubicle is kitty-corner to mine (and whom I rarely speak to--he's pretty taciturn) walked over and said, "You're going to Dominican? I got my MLS from there four years ago. You're going to want to avoid classes from [her], [him], and [her]." I didn't even know he had his MLS, let alone from Dominican.
I love having an unofficial advisor I can talk to over the cubicle wall!!
You've got a lot of change coming to your life in the next year, I think.
You got that right! In addition to the classes and surgery, I'll have my car paid off by the end of the year. So, after a few years of losing weight and taking classes, I'm hoping I can afford to finally get my passport and take a trip to England in 2011!!!
Barb - I am findiong nothing. only a dove with a chain.

I need to talk to some of you lovely librarians about what being a librarian actually entails.
I can only attest to what I do here at the corporate library, where I work on research for state legislation and regulations. I know of another Dominican graduate who, after he got his MLS, was visiting a friend and fellow librarian at the Newberry Library where his friend worked and then started talking to some of the other people who worked there, and he was telling them about his geneology hobby. That chat got him the job as one of the librarians in the family history department at the Newberry.
