Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

'Beneath You'

Natter 64: Yes, we still need you

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wait, he's *already* made us immortal?

Well, if you buy his immortality rings and take his Gorgeouspil.

Our wings are not tired

40 computers at home

I think I've got at least 20. I'd have to do more of a count to be certain.

I know I've got more than 40 unique hard drive names at this point since I have lots of externals and many of my machines dual boot Mac and Windows.

“Not dead yet!”

Need hivemind help for Lewis-- he's recalling a trip to Berlin he made as a high school graduate and he was talking about a mural he saw painted on the Wall that looked very Sistine Chapel like, where a hand is reaching out as if from the East side, but it's bound with chains.

Anyone have any idea about it? I'm trying to Google various word combos, but coming up blank.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yay, Kathy!

Hmm. I need to talk to some of you lovely librarians about what being a librarian actually entails.

Whoa, Time Cube is sort of like Dr. Bronner's Soap, without the happy feeling that peppermint soap can save the world.

ALL ONE!! ALL ONE!! And at least Dr. B's label is pure nostalgia on his kids' part at this point, plus they've gone organic and stuff.

I may have to seize the cat.

Yay for Kathy!

It is the best kind of school, library school.

I listened to The Splendid Table on Saturday and now I've been reminded that it was my ambition to be a foodie, before school got in the way. Now I'm playing with the Saving Dinner menus because they enable you to be foodie-like with much less work. Muffin-sized quiches! Pita pizzas! Crock pot tomato soup!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Great news, Kathy! Congratulations. You've got a lot of change coming to your life in the next year, I think.

The telescoping is a big deal. They're not just replacing a joint or a predefined length of bone, but something whose length they're going to have to increment regularly. That's pretty intense.

This was the very issue with ex-GF's leg. After it was injured when she was a toddler they kept putting pins in, and holding it together with plates to save the limb. But they had to do a new surgery every 18 months and eventually her body wouldn't recuperate from the surgeries. So she opted to have it amputated when she was 9.
