This sounds amazing. My husband's stepmom (who is more like a bonus mom) made orange flan... but not in ramekins, it was one giant flan... I don't remember if she used a skillet or what.

I've seen recipes for pie-sized flan that use a souffle dish, but I think unmolding them would be a giant PITA.
