One of the local tx tv sites interviewed some neighbors that said he was giving away furniture and Qu'rans this morning.
You know, it's rare I actually hope PJ's best friend is still in Afghanistan (she's a copter pilot of some sort and PJ is ALWAYS freaking out about it.)

I will say that the tipping a penny thing probably doesn't work the way it's intended. Certainly I and most people I knew would react to that, fair or not, by instantly writing you off as an asshole who was looking to cheap out from the get-go. (Um, that's a general you.) OTOH, a 10 or 12% tip is much more likely to be interpreted as a sign of unhappiness.
I figure a 1¢ tip is more likely than a 10% tip to piss off the recipient, which is my primary goal by the time things get bad enough for me to leave a tip that small.
