Be strong, Hec-- it's amazing how much will can be contained in one small body, isn't it?
Just out of curiosity, is it that she wants to be with you guys, or just your bed? In other words, while it might be counterintuitive, would it help for you and JZ to bunk down in the living room, leaving her alone in your room and kind of getting the message across that she's going to be by herself, one way or the other?
Why do I have such expensive taste?? This is basically exactly what I'm looking for. But now I see that looking for a printer stand or similar is totally the way to go, and I hadn't thought to call it that.
Jesse (and other Somervillains): always looking for an excuse to take the drive to IKEA. Also, I'm the one with a Forester which has a very reasonable amount of cargo space (and roof rack). :-)
If only I had thought to ask you earlier! We could have been there now...
Dancing Dog Can Salsa Way Better Than You Can (VIDEO)
Oh my - this is amazing.
You rarely know what's going to turn up on one of those wacky Spanish talk shows, but in no way were we expecting this. This man has trained his dog to dance, and we mean really dance. As the caption on Live Leak's website puts it, "this dog dances better than you."
The pair, getting down to a festive salsa (we think) track, incorporates spins and even a lift and through the legs maneuver. Somebody get this pooch a plane ticket. Hollywood is calling.
Would she settle for a mattress on the floor of your room? That way she doesn't feel kicked out, and you guys might still get some sleep!
Well, her crib is already two feet from our bed, so I don't think that would matter to her. Also no room.
Ah, gotcha. I misunderstood - thought she was refusing to sleep in her room.
Jesse, I saw these [link] the other day at Office Depot and was tempted. There's one with shelves; one with drawers; and one with shelves and a drawer.
I think that's bigger than I am looking for, but I am definitely figuring out
what
to look for. Thanks!
Am also looking for the window cleaners -- I had a glimpse a minute ago, but don't know where they've gone!
That dog is so lacking in hip action.
Hec, you have my sympathies. It's amazing how large a 3 year old can be when in your bed. Like, HUGE.
