'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't remember to move my car before the street sweeping started, so I have a ticket now to remind me about it. Stupidity Tax!

Jesse, if you want to take a run down to IKEA on the South Shore, I'm looking for a reason to do the drive anyway... let me know.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Matilda has turned into the Russian Front of not sleeping. We're winning the individual nightly battles but the attrition is so great that we're losing the war (i.e., the will to live).

She was up midnight to 4am last night. Much of it wailing at the top of her lungs. She really doesn't want to sleep her in bed. Or more accurately, she really wants to sleep in our bed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Would she settle for a mattress on the floor of your room? That way she doesn't feel kicked out, and you guys might still get some sleep!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, ugh. I'm sorry to hear that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, try Levenger or Williams Sonoma. They often have things of that nature.

Levenger! That's totally the catalog I was picturing, but couldn't remember! Thanks.

Jesse, if you want to take a run down to IKEA on the South Shore, I'm looking for a reason to do the drive anyway... let me know.

Ooh, thanks! I have an offer from another friend to take me on Saturday, but if that falls through, I will definitely take you up on that.

“Not dead yet!”

Be strong, Hec-- it's amazing how much will can be contained in one small body, isn't it?

Just out of curiosity, is it that she wants to be with you guys, or just your bed? In other words, while it might be counterintuitive, would it help for you and JZ to bunk down in the living room, leaving her alone in your room and kind of getting the message across that she's going to be by herself, one way or the other?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why do I have such expensive taste?? This is basically exactly what I'm looking for. But now I see that looking for a printer stand or similar is totally the way to go, and I hadn't thought to call it that.

Jesse (and other Somervillains): always looking for an excuse to take the drive to IKEA. Also, I'm the one with a Forester which has a very reasonable amount of cargo space (and roof rack). :-)

If only I had thought to ask you earlier! We could have been there now...
