Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Shrift, I can be there between 5:15 & 5:30.

I may have to seize the cat.

Ooo, which one?

Harris Teeter. They always have those ones with the spiders on them that look kind of like they have jewels on them (but it's really just paint) and the stem and bottom of the actual glass is all painted silver. So mine is silver with spiderwebs and a spider with a red body. I've been coveting them since I was in high school.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap, I was all excited to go to the supermarket (for meat muffin ingredients!), but now I have to wait for FedEx to come back. They came this morning, but left because my name wasn't on the mailbox. Seriously, FedEx??

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. You don't find endearing the idea of JZ calling and crooning, "How's my meeeeeat muffinnnnn?" at you?

I ran this through the Endearment-o-meter and I'm afraid it's trending negative.

Our wings are not tired

What distinguishes fast food with a Spanish accent from fast food chains of Mexican food?

I grew up eating a lot of both, and the best I can say is that it's like watching a white actor try to play an ethnic character. It just isn't quite right and seems to be food made from watered down stereotypes.

Given that I will occasionally eat at Del Taco or Taco Bell or the like, but I just don't really consider them mexican food. If someone says "Let's run out for Mexican food" I'd never suggest Taco Bell.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Naugles was purchased by Del Taco back in the late 80's I believe.

It was. Senor Naugles was played by the guy who played Harry Mudd and he died around the same time. There was much sadness.

Were the Endearment-o-meter results accompanied by that "you lose!" tune that plays on the Price is Right when the contestant loses?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

In my relatively small town we have at least 4 mexican restaurants, 2-4 taquerias (can't remember which are just tiendas), and 3 tex-mex places, too.

I know. And now I want an Carrburritos margarita. Or two.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I worked at Taco Bell.

And yet, I still occasionally eat there.

DH worked there in high school and college. He said it was so clean because everything came pre-packaged and they didn't have to really cook anything. He still likes it today. Admittedly, it's not "authentic" but it's yummy junk fast food.

I liked Mo's. We used to have one in Columbus and we ate there a lot.

I have a pounding headache and a cough. I hope I'm not getting Liv's ick.

For real taco shop mexican food I have to drive to San Diego. There are just so many amazing taco shops there. It isn't that there aren't a lot of great ones here, I mean I can think of at least 10 within half a mile of the house, it's just that they are even better in San Diego.

Aw, my first fish taco was when I was in San Diego for the MLA and ND drove down to keep me company. Of course, now I know it was really just for the tacos.
