Not the wrap, or ultra-crunch or bostado or tacarito or whatever neologistic special they are promoting
Hee. My favorite is the Grilled Stuft Burrito. And the double decker taco. The crunchwrap is pretty good too. But last night I passed a Taco Bell and got a craving but didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I bought the 99-cent chicken burrito and the 109-cent bean burrito. Good times.
I don't even know where the nearest Taco Bell is. We have Qdoba and Chipotle on the same street, a quarter mile apart, but I very rarely eat at either. I'm much more likely to go for regular Mexican, or eat at one of our local "fast" Tex Mex places.
All I know is I am now craving Taco Bell. Damn it.
Yeah, I started ordering the bowls after I figured that out. (Of course, I still get cheese & guac, but hey - no tortilla! I'm all virtuous and shit!)
That is totally what I do! I figure it's like getting a diet coke at McDonald's -- I know it doesn't negate the rest, but at least I'm not wasting calories on stuff I don't care about. I care deeply about cheese and guac.
But I care about tortillas! Boo-urns.
I had a frozen burrito thing for lunch, it was meh, unsurprisingly.
I am having TJ's Paneer Tikka Masala, and I am really looking forward to it.
I lurve Chipotle's rice (lime+cilantro=FTW), so I order the Bol and refuse sour cream and cheese. Rice, black beans, chicken, all of the salsas (om nom nom nom), and a ton of lettuce. Pretty healthy, as these things go.
I always have to ask for extra lettuce, why they are so stingy with it I do not understand, it has to be the cheapest thing on the bar.
We eat Chipotle every Friday.
I have never eaten at any of those places- Taco Bell because the menu is too complicated and the others because I don't think we have them here.
Someone on Cuteoverload posted the "Rainbow Bridge" story in the comments section and now I am blubbering at work.
