Looks very LoTR. I hope he's not too grim. Robin Hood should have merry men. Not suffering bastards.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Gladiator in Tights.
Pretty much what I expected. Pity.
I can't look from here. I'm okay with Robin Hood not being merry--I cut my teeth on Robin of Sherwood. In fact, I think merry's weird.
Ah, Nasir.
In fact, I think merry's weird.
Ho ho ho, cocksucker.
Heh.
Wow, that look he's got going in Dreamcatcher is not flattering.
Morgan Freeman has cashed every cheque. God bless him.

Muppet brows for the loss.
Ho ho ho, cocksucker.
On the other hand, Merry rocks. I was just rereading the actor bios of most of the LotR actors. For the explosion the movies were, they haven't really done all that much. Or, perhaps, they have. Orlando Bloom had $3M of stuff stolen. He hasn't helmed a good movie ever. Not bad bank.
I miss the LotR days. The Hobbit days can never be the same.
I guess Easy Reader goes between Stand By Me and Street Smart.
I was most worried about Dom after LoTR was done, but he went and got on Lost. He was dating Evangeline Lilly too for a while.
The LoTR movie thread was fun.
It was nice rewatching the trilogy last week while Emmett and I were both fluish. LoTR and Harry Potter are two phenomenons which will define the Oughties, I think.
I remember Scola arriving in town in December and we had a day off together.
Me: What do you want to do?
Tom: Well, Return of the King is opening...
Me: Yeah!
Also, I vividly remember dragging Emmett to the movies when he was too young to be looking at such ghastly and scary Orcs. Then he went and got himself a big, cool, scary Sauron action figure. It rumbled "Build me an army worthy of Mordor."
Also, Emmett hid behind the chairs during Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets during the basilisk battle.
Fortunately, he never got nightmares from these things and after he saw them once he wasn't scared on the rewatch.
