Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When's it due to shoot? And are they jumping ahead x years ? I'm sure much of the age on Kristen in House of Lies was pregnancy weight, but I'm used to her as being in her 30s now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It starts shooting soon, and, yes, they are jumping ahead. It's time for Neptune High's ten-year reunion.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why aren't we all talking about the Desolation of Smaug trailer?? And why is Evangeline Lilly dressed up as Link?

Arachnophobe warning 1 min 10 seconds in.

Legolas is ageing backwards.

I do love the ending of the trailer, though.

For a movie called "The Desolation of Smaug," it seemed like 90% of the story covered in the film is actually not in the Desolation of Smaug, but whatever.

I agree with you Jess about Evangeline Lilly looking like Link.

So Lee Pace is Tharanduil? Excellent.

And Smaug himself looks fantastic. What little we saw.

For a story primarily about some dwarves and a dragon, this movie seems to have way more elves than it ought.

Still, Lee Pace, so okay.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So Lee Pace is Tharanduil? Excellent.

He was Tharanduil in the first Hobbit! Riding a giant stag, remember?

Riding a giant stag, remember?

I think you mean a giant moose.

I don't think an elf would ride something as ugly as a moose.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Not a moose.
