last night. Mal had a map of Middle-Earth spread out on his lap for most of it, except when he needed to hide from trolls. He thought the wargs looked like dinosaurs, which made me think megafauna, and a little Google later it appears that the wargs are a mix of megafauna, while Thranduil's war moose is an Irish elk (which is apparently neither Irish nor an elk).
This time I was even more blown away by Martin Freeman's performance.
