Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I cannot stop watching the videos of this choir. They're just so neat. (Staten Island public school fifth graders.) [link]

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Aims! So glad to hear that.

Much no-cancer~ma to Jilli.

I think I like "Rock & Roll All Night" by the young drummer even better.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We watched that one.

That kid has been playing for a year. won't get foold again -- a reputation for being tough to play .

Of course, the amp plus a guitar are out now.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

GALLONS OF No-cancer-ma to Jilli.

Hil, I've been watching PS22 a lot lately too! But my favourite of theirs remains, indisputably Eye of the Tiger. Partly because of Jensen Ackles, and partly because one of my kids had randomly sung that song very out of tune at me earlier that day (bless her heart!), but mostly because they are awesome.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Lots of ~ma for Jilli.

Owen asked who the "white guys playing guitars were that starts with K and ends with SS" in the car the other day and then did a Gene Simmons tongue thing. DH laughed so hard he almost cried. I think Owen might have watched Role Models with Christopher one night.

I just love the arrangement of Gold Dust. Plus, I'm just stunned that this chorus is from a public school -- that sort of sound, I really expected it to be a special performing arts school. But, nope, just a regular neighborhood school on Staten Island.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My physical therapist today asked me about the story of Jacob and Esau. Huh?

Possibly because of LOST. (One character is named Jacob, and he seems to have a nemesis, who is as of yet unnamed, and fandom has started referring to said nemesis as Esau.)

Ooooh. That actually does make sense -- she's mentioned LOST before. The question seems slightly less random now.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

OMG Cash, that is too fucking funny.

This happens to me fairly often. I think that's what I get for naming my kid Isaac. I wonder if the same kind of thing happens to the mom who named her kid Esther.

The status is NOT quo.

I am home from camping and rafting with 71 freshmen girls. Fun, but very tired.

Just playing quick catch up, tons of love and so much sympathy to Suzi and family. I'm so sorry about this terrible news. Please let me know what we can do.

Jilli, tons of no-cancer -ma. Please text me when you know more, k? Hugs and love.

Aims, WOOT no cancer, and WOOT graduation day tomorrow!

Happy Anniversary JZ and Hec! Also, I have a sneaky suspicion it's also someone's birthday, but I'm not sure who. Someone fill me in?

I'm sure I'm missing a lot, but I'm really far behind. Hugs and hairpats and congrats as are warrented.
