you never really liked any meat though, did you?
'Heart Of Gold'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I liked hot dogs and chicken.
Fire and Ice, Plei?
Ayup.
I stopped reading Skinny Bitch, and now I'm watching An American Tail, which I loved when I was seven. The pogrom scene was too scary, though. Then, I mean. Not too scary now.
Painkillers are fun.
I love watching Hil on painkillers -- Still Hil, she just swoops a little more.
I o not know why but I wrote a todo list for Friday. I think it is because I got so little done Monday and Wednesday. But it is a litle scary .
There are no cats in America!
All bad things are cats, it seems. Pogroms, mafia, the British army in Ireland -- all cats.
I find myself with dueling earworms - "No Cats In America" and "There Is No Arizona".
Which is a hilarious song when you live there.
Who the hell aims for a 70 on their final? Or on any test?
Oh, hai. Like, take statistics as an example. It's very frustrating for me, and it's not like I'm not spending hours every week trying to solve the fraking questions.
Actually, it'll be more accurate to say that it's not that I'm aiming for 70 - I'm aiming and wishfully wanting it to be a 100 - but I'm realistic enough to hope for 70. Which is also the grade I have to get to pass this class.
Anyway, what I wanted to say, Hil, is that yes, this isn't fair - but who says life is? It's like astronaut vs. caveman - we're all cheering for astronaut, but it's the caveman that wins. Fair? No. According to everything, we should have made a progress. But that's (the imagined) reality. Though I liked the other offer about giving him few extra problems, too, but that's the humanitarian in me.
With the big Gala happening Saturday
EAT CHOCOLATE
In light of our discussion about bad driving in DC and Miami TV, I'm crossposting this rant from Procedurals (which DC folk will appreciate) - Okay, Criminal Minds is driving me nuts. First, they're supposed to be in the "Washington transit system", the trains are CLEARLY New York-- dual tracked, which if we had that here, we'd have far fewer delays. Second, they walk past a sign that says "Subway"; we don't have a "subway", we have a "Metro", Third, the station was all tile, which is not the case for any DC station. Fourth, there are two employees from Ft. Deitrick wearing their badges while they ride the train. No! everyone who works in a sensitive location in DC is instructed to remove their badges when they leave the building, security reminds them. Fifth, you can't really get to Ft. Deitrick with public transportation (and if you could, it wouldn't be on the green line!!!!).
Please, people! Do some fucking research!! I will give you 1, 2 4 and 5 as DC specific, but the Metro thing is BASIC.
Sigh. Confusing Girl is no longer confusing, just stupid and evil. She suddenly did an aboutface, after Friday being all nice and interested and saying she wanted to go out again...and told me (email) that she doesn't feel a "dating vibe" and just wants to see me around and dance. WTF? Grrr.
