Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Would it have been so difficult to tell me sometime before he walked in?

Ugh - nightmare. Your advisor sounds like an idiot. What's your research area?

Here's a youtube link I woke up to. I think everyone should wake up to it. Awesome start to the day. [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What's your research area?

Combinatorics. Hopf algebras, mostly.

Ah. I'd love to say something good about that, but I barely recognise the words, so I'll say "mmm" in a tone that suggests I understand. (I do social sciences. We're not very clever. Elevator pitch is easy though. "I research representations of disability in healthcare." Two seconds.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Congrats, Aims! Superb grades. And congrats to David's team as well.

Kristin, I was so glad to hear about your father.

Barb and Jilli and Hil - tons of good luck, to each with her own.

I should get ready. Will leave soon, to my dentist (and in good time. That place where the jaws meet in under a hell lot of tense, and I didn't sleep well the past two nights).

Also, I'm considering to start a twitter account, for pure scientific experiment. I should first define my variables and methods, but I already have an agenda.

Also also, I suspect some guy who's in one of my history class has a thing for me. Which is great, because hey, the guy? Is hot. I'm wondering now how to encourage him and lure him in my general bed direction.

Twitter terrifies me. I find Facebook quite complicated enough. (This may well be a sign that I'm getting old.)

Hot boy! Enjoy :)

Oh, I'm not on FB - it terrifies me.

Twitter should be easier to handle (not a lot of spare time here), and actually help me explore academic theory (Actor Network Theory) - that's how I got the idea in the first place, though I know the web isn't the real world (what's up with that, really?). Yeah, I'm doing wonderful with staying away from structuralism, me. Pfft.

And I only suspecting the hot guy. Not even close to be sure, but he sure is nice to me.

Do that. It is evil. I like critical theory, myself. ANT's an interesting approach too.

You can do work via twitter? How is this so?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oooh, combinatorics! Like on Numb3rs!

...

...

...yeah, that's all I got.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

yeah, that's all I got.

No, you could create... new combinations!

On! Oooh, combinatorics like Numb3rs!
Numb3rs on, combinatorics!, Oooh like!
Combinatorics on like Numb3rs Oooh!,!
